Halloween Treats for Someone Special

I LOVE Halloween and I wanted to share what I created...now to find those "special" trick or treaters to receive these!  LOL
I got some clear boxes from clearbags.com.  You can get a variety of boxes and bags from there to decorate.  I used our Cricut Artist Cartridge to create the medallions our of our Scaredy Cat paper.  Do you have these Cricut Cartridges yet?  If not...dang, you have to get them!  lol

Then I took these AMAZINGLY cute stamps Frightfully Fun (B1453 $9.95) and decorated them!
The thistle (purple) piece is from page 70 of the Artiste cartridge (it is suppose to be a sun...lol) and I cut that at 2 1/2".  Then I cut a white circle at 1 3/4"
On this mummy, I wanted him to pop a little so I took a light blue marker and colored some of his lines...so you can see a little dimension.

On the side of this box you can see that I took our Sunset Chevron Washi tape (Z2005 $7.95) and wrapped it around...this also helped the box from popping open and losing the candy!  LOL  Then I tied it with our Thistle diagonal ribbon (Z1990 $3.95) .  Just adds a little to it!

Here are all the ones I created.  And you can also see our new button box (Z2053 $4.95) in the back that I decorated too.    How fun are these!!
It's time to start creating for Halloween!

More School Ideas

I love this idea...yes, it is an apple created with our cupcake line from the Close to my Heart Artist Cricut Cartridge.

I cut the liner at 2" (it's on page 63 of the cartridge book).  I grabbed a plastic bag and put hot tamales  in them, tied it with some bakers twine.  I then took some desert sand cardstock and rolled it for the stem.  Attached some leaves and a thank you.  Very easy, very fun and a great inexpensive gift.

It's Time for School

And don't forget to get your craft supplies out and help them get ready!
I had this idea...it reminded me of the "good old days" when everything wasn't DONE for us!  We actually created things!!
I covered some books with the good old brown paper bags from the grocery store and grabbed my supplies.
I had so much fun creating these.  What kid wouldn't want these!  BUT, I really thought it would be a fun way to spend time with your kids.  Grab some bags and start decorating!

On these books I used some of our new stamps.  My favorite new alphabet is this one (above) called Handwritten Print (E1030 $29.95) and then I also used our new school stamps...The "too cool for school" is in our Chalk it up Workshop kit...love it!  I also used C1588 Great Job $13.95, D1599 Geek is Chic $17.95 and D1612 Teacher Appreciation $17.95

So fun!  I know my kids would have LOVED to make these with me!

On this sample, I used a piece of our Chalk it Up paper and stamped "My" and "first grade" using our handwritten print (I told you it was my favorite...right now...lol) and used our White stamp pad.  LOVE how it looks just like chalk!  The "first day of" is a chip board piece from our Chalk it Up Complements.  You can find this kit on pages 26 - 37 of our NEW catalog.  Check out my website to see them, or contact me for a catalog.  They are $3.50, but FREE, if you host a party or join a group!

September Group Layouts

In September my monthly groups will be making these pages!  These are made with our Chalk it Up paper pack.

These pages were designed to use for School pictures.  My baby is all grown up so I wasn't sure what I was going to do with these...but WOW!  I am so excited to use them!  We recently went up to Canada, and I found that these pictures works GREAT on this paper pack!

My husband and I sat without internet, texting, facebook, or phone calls. We spend QUALITY time with each other...and these pages represent those memories.

You can use them for School pictures or even vacation pictures.  After 16 years of doing this, I still am amazed on how versatile our paper packs are.

Would you like to come and make them too!  Simply email me and I will find a group that works for you.  You can come as a guest and see if it is something you want to join.
