Introducing Studio J Videos

I want to add a some Studio J education to my blog, so each Wednesday I will be putting a Studio J video on my blog. These are GREAT SHORT videos that show you how fast and easy it is to use out online scrapbooking. AND the best thing is you don't have to purchase any software and it free to try!

Simply to go my website and click the Studio J tab at the top.  Set up an account (it's free and we don't do anything with it) or if you already have an account simply sign in and start creating.  But you might want to watch this video first to get familiar with how it works.

It's so easy and you will have all your scrapbooking done before you know it!  I am hosting a FREE Studio J class on Tuesday, November 20th at 7:00.  If you would like to attend, please RSVP to me!  You can bring your laptop and I will even help you get started!
AND, there is no cost unless you decide to purchase your layouts!
SO check out this video and then stop by next Wednesday for another step by step Studio J video!

Cricut Candy Flowers

I posted one of these flowers a while ago on my blog and promised I would share with you when I got them all done...so here they are!  A bouquet of candy flowers!  CUTE!

Here is what I did...I used our Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I used the C key on page 63.  First I cut out the Accent 2 with Goldrush cardstock at 3 1/4" and then the Shift Accent 2 with our pattern paper at 2 3/4"  It even cuts out the middle!
Then for the leaf I used Olive cardstock and the #2 key page 32 and cut it at 2 3/4".  After I have them cut out, I use our Treat Cups (Z1778 10 for $3.95) filled with colored M & M's.  I then took some sticks and wrapped with florist tape and liquid glassed them to the flowers!  TADA!
Done!  I think it turned out VERY CUTE!  Give it a try!
The possibilities are endless with our Cricut Cartridges!
If you have not gotten your cartridges yet, just let me know!  I can get them ordered for you!

October Stamp of the Month

It's time for another stamp of the month!  And this month it a GREAT one!  Our stamp of the month is called Very Merry Christmas.  I know it is only October, but if you are going to start making things for Christmas, it's time to get going!
Above are a few boxes from our Artiste Cartridge.

This is a fun twisting box that you can put small presents in or even treats.  I also put one of our medallions on it from the cartridge.  It is so cool...the cricut cuts it out and puts little score marks so you know just where to fold it!  Attach to of them together and you have a great medallion!

This is our cupcake box (you can put whatever you want in it).  It even cuts out the top middle and I put a piece of acetate over it and now it looks like a professional box for your treats!
Here is the layout I made with it!  FUN! Now all I need is SNOW!  LOL  Just kidding!

So on this layout I cut out a snowflake using the Cricut cartridge.

In the middle of the snowflake I used one of our glitzy rhinestone brads to give it a bit of a sparkle.  Even though you can't see it sparkle in the picture.  There is another pictures below that shows it better.

Here's the second page and again I am using the rhinestone brads and sparkles.  Remember to get those out of your stash and use them!  Sparkles and snowflakes are a perfect match!

Isn't this snow man just so darn CUTE!  He is part of our Flakey Friends stamp set (C1506 $13.95)  There are 3 adorable snowmen!

Here is better picture of the snowflake and the sparkle.
So get your pages ready for the snow that will be coming before we know it!  EEK!  lol

Halloween Scrapbook Layouts

Are you ready for Halloween?  These layouts will get you in the mood!  These are the layouts that my monthly groups will be making!  Want to come as a guest?  Just give me a call or send me an email (gottastamp@cox.net) and let me know which date will work for you (check out my upcoming events tab for October group dates)
Here is the first layout we will be making.  It is from our Make it From My Heart Book pattern #12. The picture below is the blown up version of the left hand page.  I love that mummy!  LOL  And we will be learning a new stamping technique on the BOO.

And here is the blown up version of the right hand side.  The lamp post with the spider web hanging from it.  CUTE!
And here is the other layout below.  It is from our Magic How To Book - Performance is the layout name.  The thing I love about these layouts is you can omit the halloween images and add pumpkins or something to make it look more fall and less halloween.
