Plus you get 3 coordinating stamp sets and 3 sheets of our dimensional elements!  If you loved our last cartridge, you will LOVE THIS ONE EVEN MORE!  Contact me to get your cartridge now!  Just wait until you see what you can do with it!  I will have it at my open house!  Hope to see you there!

"Chocolate" Birthday Cake

Do you love Chocolate?  You will love this cake!  I made this for my friend Sara.  She just turned...ok, I will not tell you, but she had a birthday while I was in Texas getting a new catalog, so I thought I best make her a "chocolate" cake!

I saw this idea on Pinterest.  I took some nuggets chocolates, covered them with the ONE Sheet of NEW paper I had until my new stuff arrived!  Since that was the only piece I had, I pulled a another piece from my Splendor paper packet.  It's old, but it works and I am using what I had.  I took a spool that ribbon was on and covered it with Hollyhock cardstock...attached the nuggets, then a smaller ribbon roll and added another "layer".   It was tempting to run out and get som styrofoam, but I really wanted to use what I had.  It's amazing what you can find when you put your mind to it!  LOL

I hope you enjoyed my "chocolate" cake.  Oh and by the way...the floral paper is from our new Flirty paper pack!  Very cute!!  Make sure you come to my Open House Sunday, July 29th to see more!!

MIA!

Did you think I was MIA?  Sorry...I have been at our annual Close to my Heart Convention in Dallas Texas and didn't post anything to my blog before I left.  Sorry!  But I am back and have so much to tell you!!
Here is a picture of me with the sign CTMH made for all the Directors.  My team is the Gotta Stamp Crew.  We were part of the parade that walked down the aisles at the beginning of the first day!  It was in general session.  Too fun!  They think of some cool stuff for us Directors to do!!

Here is a picture of my team in our adorable team shirts.  You can't see them very good but it says Gotta Stamp Crew and they have our little stick people on it with cowboys hats and western wear.  Very Cute!  One of my downlines designed them.
Here I am with my friends Christina Eisenhour & Melissa Robinson.  This is the directors dinner.  They took us to Eddie Deen's Ranch.  Ok...they called it a ranch and it was a blast, but it was building in downtown Dallas!  LOL  It was decked out with western store fronts and horses, wagons and even a bear!  Well, they were all stuffed!  LOL

I was the recipient of 2 awards.  My first one was for #10 for personal sales for the company!  YIPPEE!  Thanks to you...all my customers who have made that a reality.  Then the other award I got was for #3 in team sales for our unit size!  GO TEAM!  This is awesome!  Here is a picture of me with my team and our award.  We all dress up well don't we!

And then the highlight!  The Texas Tenors were the entertainment and came to our dessert banquet for all the awards recipients.  They took pictures with us AND even gave us a free cd and autographed it!  How fun is that! How cute are they!  lol
I have to admit, I am NOT a country music girl and I didn't see them on America's Got Talent...but they are MORE then country. The opening song was Play Me Some Mountain Music...ok I like that one and after all they were EASY TO WATCH!  lol  And I had a table up front!  Then they sang Nessun Dorma and I have to say I have never felt the breathe taken out of me and so emotionally into a song before!  WOW!  They were good!

Oh and besides all this exciting stuff, we also got a NEW IDEA BOOK & CATALOG!  lol  It is AMAZING!!  I can't wate to get playing with all the new stuff.  And YES, just in case you haven't heard by now...we got a NEW CRICUT CARTRIDGE called Artiste!  If you like bags, boxes, purses and dimensional items, you will LOVE THIS!  It does more then that, but WOW!  For only $99, you get the cartridge with 1200 images (only 2 are the same as our other one...a square & a circle) 3 stamp sets, 3 dimensional elements chipboard shapes AND a booklet that tells you how to make all the dimensional stuff! HOW COOL IS THAT!  If you would like to see it and all the new stuff, come to my OPEN HOUSE ON SUNDAY, JULY 29TH FROM 1:00 - 5:00!
If you RSVP I will have supplies for you to make a 12 x 12 layout using new products!!              DON'T MISS IT!  Hope to see you Sunday July 29th!

July Group Layouts

Here are my July Group layouts.  I really like this paper pack!  It's called Victory!  I used pictures of my son's birthday for these pages.  Here is a record even for me.  His birthday was May 1st.  I had all of the pictures developed and scrapbooked by May 4th!  WOW!  That has NEVER happened.  Good thing I needed pictures for these layouts...otherwise they wouldn't be done!  LOL
For the above layout I used the pattern from our workshop kit.  I also used our Varsity Alphabet.                    I am falling in love with that alphabet!
Here is a close up of the second page.  I used our 4 x 6 flip flaps here.  There is a cool story behind this picture.  Cody took the day off to golf on his birthday and we always go to lunch.  After lunch he golfed ANOTHER 18 holes.  I asked if I could take a few pictures for the scrapbook.  As I was taking these pictures we realize it was 1:07 pm...the exact time he was born.  How fun is that!
I put my camera on burst mode so I got his entire swing!  I used our flip flaps so you can see the whole  sequence of this swing and hit.  Very fun!  Our flip flaps come in 4 x 6 (15 for $3.95), 12" pack with 4 x 12, 6 x 12 & 8 x 12) for $4.95 and our 6 x 6 flip flaps 10 for $4.95.  They are a GREAT way to get lots of pictures all on the same page!
This second layout I used our Magic How to Book.  The layout is called Top Hat.
Want to make these pages...come to one of my groups in July!

July Stamp of the Month

July has a great stamp of the month.  It is called Live Out Loud.  It has 8 stamps with great phrases like Live out Loud, Soar, Imagine the possibilities just to name of few.
Here is a layout that I scrap lifted from our catalog.  Close to my Heart did the first page (I changed it a little of course) and then added the second page!  It turned out GREAT!  AND, the pattern paper used for this is from Superhero.  You would have never guessed that!  It is the periodic table paper.  So you take paper from a kit that is mostly Red, White & Blue and add different cardstock colors and now you have a TOTALLY different look.
Here are the pages by themselves bigger so you can see better.  The word "SOAR" and "you make the world a better place" is from the July stamp of the month.  I also added the word "friends" in the tile area.  It is our newsprint rub ons!  Using what I have.  Then I took the pink flower and butterfly...those are from our Lucy rub ons!  YEA!  I love it when I can use up some of the stuff I already have on hand!
And here are a few cards!  The Just Be U card was inspired from my friend Julie's card!  HI JULIE!  I stamped lifted again!  LOL  On that card I colored our color ready seam binding (ribbon) with Indian Corn Blue re-inkers and now I have custom ribbon!
If you would like this stamp set make sure you get it before the end of the month!  Because it is ONLY available in the month of July!
