Cocktail Alphabet

We recently went to New Zealand and stopped at this very yummy fruit stand. Not only did they have GREAT fruit, but it was so pretty I just had to take some pictures! LOL But what I really wanted to show you was my title..."fruit stand". I used Close to my Hearts new Cocktail Alphabet. I LOVE THIS ALPHABET! It has both upper & lower case and some punctuation. I first inked it in Goldrush ink, then the "fruit" I inked the bottom half in Smokey Plum ink, then stamped it. For the "stand" I inked it again in Goldrush ink and then stamped the top part in Barn Red ink! It really works well with all the colors in the layout and looks like custom letters. One other thing I wanted to bring your attention to...I didn't have a cherry stamp, so I made one! My friend Sara saw a circle stamp and told me to see if that would make a good cherry. It did! Then I took a stem to a flower to make the stem to the cherry. This is just one more example of using what you have! I hope you like my layout!
