October Stamp of the Month
It's time for another stamp of the month! And this month it a GREAT one! Our stamp of the month is called Very Merry Christmas. I know it is only October, but if you are going to start making things for Christmas, it's time to get going!
Above are a few boxes from our Artiste Cartridge.
This is a fun twisting box that you can put small presents in or even treats. I also put one of our medallions on it from the cartridge. It is so cool...the cricut cuts it out and puts little score marks so you know just where to fold it! Attach to of them together and you have a great medallion!
This is our cupcake box (you can put whatever you want in it). It even cuts out the top middle and I put a piece of acetate over it and now it looks like a professional box for your treats!
Here is the layout I made with it! FUN! Now all I need is SNOW! LOL Just kidding!
So on this layout I cut out a snowflake using the Cricut cartridge.
In the middle of the snowflake I used one of our glitzy rhinestone brads to give it a bit of a sparkle. Even though you can't see it sparkle in the picture. There is another pictures below that shows it better.
Here's the second page and again I am using the rhinestone brads and sparkles. Remember to get those out of your stash and use them! Sparkles and snowflakes are a perfect match!
Isn't this snow man just so darn CUTE! He is part of our Flakey Friends stamp set (C1506 $13.95) There are 3 adorable snowmen!
Here is better picture of the snowflake and the sparkle.
So get your pages ready for the snow that will be coming before we know it! EEK! lol

Just give me a call or send me an email (gottastamp@cox.net) and let me know which date will work for you (check out my upcoming events tab for October group dates)
Here is the first layout we will be making. It is from our Make it From My Heart Book pattern #12. The picture below is the blown up version of the left hand page. I love that mummy! LOL And we will be learning a new stamping technique on the BOO.And here is the blown up version of the right hand side. The lamp post with the spider web hanging from it. CUTE!
And here is the other layout below. It is from our Magic How To Book - Performance is the layout name. The thing I love about these layouts is you can omit the halloween images and add pumpkins or something to make it look more fall and less halloween.

Guest Book Tree
If you have been on Pinterest you might have seen these trees. They are the big trend for wedding guest books. You make the tree and have everyone that comes to the wedding, put their finger print on the tree and write their name by their finger print. FUN! So my future daughter in law came to me to see if I could help her make one for her friends that were married last weekend.
Here's what we came up with. How fun is that! We thought it turned out so good. AND, this tree was created with just ONE branch from our Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge. We made branches that were 6", 4" & 2" and make it look like a tree! How did we do?
This is a picture of it with all the finger prints on it. WOW! What a beautiful tree all filled in! LOL She has a frame for it and will be displayed in the new couples home. What a great way to remember your wedding and those who shared your day!
There was one flaw in our tree...the swing was meant for the bride & groom...their finger prints were SUPPOSE to go there, but the grandma & grandpa got their first. UGH! lol Oh well. I guess next time the bride & groom will have to put their finger prints on FIRST! But all in all it turned out great.
Here is the sign we made to tell them what to do. I guess we should have also had a sign that said, "swing reserved for the bride & groom" LOL
It is so nice to have a daughter in law (soon to be) that likes crafts too! Now if I can just get her scrapbooking!!! In time....

Let's GET IT DONE!
Are you behind on scrapbooking and need to get it DONE FAST! Feel like you will NEVER get it done! Are you so far behind you just want to STOP taking pictures?
I have the answer for you! STUDIO J!
We have something new in our Studio J collection. It's called our Express Collection! I LOVE IT!
We have 6 different themes with 10 two page layouts in them. EVERYTHING IS DONE FOR YOU! All you need to do is drop in your pictures & add your journaling. You can change a few things if you want, but it is mostly DONE!
Here are some layouts I created with our Travel Collection. They are from our trip to Seattle on Labor Day...YES THIS LAST LABOR DAY! As in 20 days ago! And these have been done for about a week now! WOW!
All these layout took me about 1 hour to do. I didn't have to develop pictures or anything! AND, I only use the pictures I needed to use. Normally I will print a bunch of pictures and about 1/4 of them I don't use. That is a waste of money...but not with Studio J! AND, one of my favorite things about Studio J is that you drop the photo in the well and it sizes it. See the photo above on the left. It is an 8 x 10...I normally don't print that size...and then the ones on the right bottom...TINY! But the pictures resize and work GREAT!
Another feature I LOVE...when you place your order, you get the jpegs emailed to you within MINUTES! Then you can share them on your blog, facebook or with family & friends while you are waiting for the originals to be delivered! YEA! OH, and do you make multiple layout for each of your kids? Just click how many you want and you now you have one for everyone without any more effort! YEA!!!!
So I have these now and my originals are on the way! I can't wait to see them! What a great way to relive those memories! (you can click on the layout to make it bigger)
We have made some changes in Studio J...NO MORE MEMBERSHIP FEE! YEA!!! This is GREAT! It is simply $6.95 for a 2 page layout! WOW! Remember you will not have to have pictures developed! AND you have access to all paper packs & layouts. You will also get free jpegs.
Want to learn more about Studio J? Join me for a FREE Studio J workshop on Wednesday October 10th at 7:00. Just bring your laptop (if you don't have a laptop come anyway) and I will show you some of the GREAT features on Studio J and even create some! Please RSVP! Don't miss it! It's a GREAT way to GET R DONE! And you will be able to see these layouts in person!
