Close to my Heart You Are Here Cricut Cartridge

I know, I know...I have been posting all month about this cartridge...BUT...isn't it amazing!  These are some of the shapes I have been playing with.  I LOVE the National Park badges...

The flag and "Hello", USA & "Nebraska" are from Close to my Heart's Hello USA cartridge.  Now to put these on layouts.

A Trip to the Zoo with Grandma!

The other day I took my granddaughter to the zoo.  I picked the hottest day I could find...but we really didn't care AND, it was easier to justify sharing an ice cream cone.  LOL  

We had to stop at the giraffe house and see Sophia's plaque on the wall.  (that is the larger picture on the left side)  I also added a flip flap to the right side with the rest of the pictures of her messy ice cream face.  Gotta love that face!  I had to add those, but I didn't want to make another page.  I love using flip flaps to get your pictures on without adding more layouts!  

We had a great time.  AND, I got to use the new Here You Are Cricut Cartridge AGAIN!  LOL

I also used some of our new paper packs..Close to my Heart's new Basics & Enchantment Fundamentals paper pack.

Beach Layout

Can you tell that I am HOOKED on the Close to my Heart You Are Here Cricut Cartridge?  I am having so much fun creating with it.

So here is a layout I was inspired by from our convention.  I changed it a bit and recreated it.  It was so fun to make.  And I added a bit of my clear shimmer pen (even though you can't see that) but it makes the image sparkle.  

It's time to get your cartridge and start creating.  

Family Tree

I used "fit to page" to do this one...I wanted it as big as I could get it.

So fun.  Now I need to fill in the blanks and get it in my scrapbook!

Use the Close to my Heart Hello USA Cricut Cartridge for Your Travels

Do you travel? Do you like to keep track of where you have been? I do and I have always wanted one of those big maps that people have on the back of their RV's. BUT, I really don't want to stick something to the back of our RV...I don't even know that I want one that big...but I finally found the solution...

The Close to my Heart Cricut Cartridge - Hello USA. This cartridge has all the US states, their flowers, slogans and names along with the flag and other icons. It is a digital only cartridge.

So what I did here was cut out the background of the US with white cardstock. Then I cut the outline in black. Now this will give you all the state too...but I wanted them in a different color. So I cut it out with Lagoon cardstock. So what I will do, whenever we spend the night in a state, I will add it to my map. I have the state pieces in an envelope so I can add them.

I put magnets on the back and put it on the fridge in our Motorhome. HOW COOL IS THAT! So excited about this. What will you do with this cartridge? I can't wait to see!

So I have been using Close to my Heart's new Cricut Cartridge...You Are Here...and I am LOVING it!! Here is a card that I made REAL fast for my friend Sara's birthday. She LOVES chocolate...so when I saw this, I knew I had to make it for her. How fun!

I am so excited to tell you that Close to my Heart has 4 new Cricut Cartridges.
