I just love this banner.  My friend Michelle Snyder created it...and I loved it and I had to copy it!!!  I think it is so pretty!  I used Close to my Heart's Oh Deer paper pack and the Close to my Heart's Flower Market Cricut Cartridge.

Winter Wonderland

Its getting time to think Winter Wonderland!  Here are a few more layouts using Close to my Heart's Cozy Christmas stamps and thin cuts.  You can get the stamp set separate (D1695  $17.95) or get the stamps AND the thin cuts (Z4008 $26.95).  I love the thin cuts because you can cut them fast and perfect!!  Love that!  I also added our snowflake thin cuts...unfortunately they are sold out!  YIKES!  These stamps are only available until December 31st, so make sure you get them if you want them.

The second layout is using our Perfectly Pine Stamp set (A1191 $6.95).  I am so in love with this stamp set too!  I will be sad at the end of the year when they are gone.

Plain Bag to Cute Gift

At my recent 3 day crop, I made these cute goodie bags.  I took an ordinary lunch bag, that I had...remember use what you have whenever possible and decorated it with these cute little critters.  They are from our Woodland Critters (C1657 $13.95) stamp set.

If you are interested in getting this stamp set, you need to get it before the end of the year!!  That is quickly approaching so don't delay!

I just love to be able to take something that you have already in your house and use it to create something so cute!

 

Christmas Treats

I love making little treats for when I go to see friends..or if you want to decorate your table with something easy.  Here are two gifts.  The first one was inspired by my sweet friend Michelle Snyder.  I found some "extra" bags in my stash...remember try to find stuff you already have!  And I filled it with Hershey kisses (again I had some in my stash that I got for the 2nd project here)  You can fill your bag with anything.  Then I stamped the ho ho ho tag from Perfect Presents.  I just stamped it in cocoa ink on a piece of kraft cardstock that has the little white dots on it (from Rusty Home Fundamental paper pack). Tied it with some twine I had...and tada, cute little gift.

Then, I saw a variation on pinterest...simply take those Hershey kisses and cut a Christmas tree (or whatever you want), glue it to a toothpick...I used liquid glass for my adhesive.  Then I stuck the toothpick in the kiss and done.  I will have these out as a little table decoration.  How cut and easy are those!  Next year I will make them again and I am sure I will have a little grand daughter going down the table eating them all up!  LOL

Get your crafting supplies out and make your goodie bags and table decorations now...before things get too crazy!  lol

Snow Fun Layouts!

It is getting to that time of year when the snow will start falling and I have a few layouts ready and waiting for just that!

This first layout is more Christmasy, with an outdoors feel.  I am so in love with these stamps I used on it.  It is the Woodland Wishes.  You can get the thin cut bundle.  That comes with the coordinating thin cuts that cut the trees, snowflakes and reindeer (make sure you put a red gem on his nose!) then you stamp right on the cut image!  LOVE IT!

I also used our City Sidewalk paper pack!  AND, if you love this paper pack and want to make 6 pages...make sure you come to my December groups!  We are making 6 more pages!!  You will be all ready for your Christmas pictures!!

Then on this layouts...much different look, but guess what!  The SAME paper pack!  (City Sidewalk) That blue with the trees on it is my favorite piece in that paper pack.  But look at the different look you get.  This layout is using our Cozy Christmas thin cut/stamp bundle.  Yep, you cut the shapes using your Cuddlebug and the thin cuts and then stamp on the cut images

These stamps, thin cuts and paper packs are only available until December 31st (or while supplies last)...so make sure you get yours soon.  And, make sure you get out there when it snows and get those pictures taken...and make sure you get them developed!  LOL

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you have a VERY blessed Thanksgiving this year!  I am so excited that this is Sophia's first Thanksgiving.  And in honor of that, I created this adorable Thanksgiving layout.  I used Close to my Heart's Swan Lake paper pack.  Another paper pack that I love.  The name doesn't tell you how FALL this kit is!

The other thing I did with this layout is use one of our 6" x 12" flip flap.  You can see it in the second pictures.  This adheres to the outside of the page protector and it allows me to put an additional 4 pictures on it without having to make additional pages!  I LOVE Flip Flaps!  Saves me a lot of time!!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and make sure you take pictures and more importantly, you preserve those memories!

Another Fall Layouts

I know, I know...yet another fall layout!  I just love them so much!  This one I cheated on...it was in the Close to my Heart Annual Inspirations catalog and I scrap lifted it!  I did change it up a bit...you know me!  LOL    If you haven't gotten those fall pictures taken yet...you better hurry!  

Get get enough of FALL

Here is another great fall layout that I created using Close to my Heart's Swan Lake paper pack. If you came to my crop, you made this layout!  Check out those ADORABLE critters!  They are from our Woodland Critters stamp set!!  So stinkin cute!!  I also used our LOVE thin cut on this layout.  

If you have not used any of our new thin cuts, then you need to get some!  These are quick and easy to make and the best part...besides they are so cool, you use SCRAP paper to cut them.  I have been using so much of my scraps...it's GREAT!

Fall Card

Here is a card I made using our With You stamp set.  I am having so much fun with this stamp set!!  It is our Holiday Expressions Catalog.  It is so fall!  It is a great card to make for all those fall birthdays!

And, if you look close, on the flowers...I used our Shimmer Brush!  Oh my gosh!  I am NOT a glitter girl, but I do love this little shimmer.  These pens have sold out several times and right now it is available.  They are only $4.95!!  Wow!! For that price you need to get several!!

Preserve those Fall Memories

It's fall and it's time to preserve those memories!  I love this time of year!  The colors are so beautiful!  It's time to rake up those leaves and let your kids jump in!

I am in love this this fall layout I created.  I used the Rustic Home Fundamentals stamp set and the With You stamp set!  LOVE IT!  Our Rustic Home Fundamentals will be available until July 2017, however, our With You stamp set is only available until the end of December.

Now I need to get that cute grand baby of mine out in the leaves...and not have her eat them!  LOL

Baby Layout

I love this layout...not only is it of the cutest baby ever (yes I am biased), but it is using Close to my Heart's new Whimsy paper pack!  What I REALLY love about this is one side of the paper is pink and you guessed it, the other side is BLUE!  This pack has so many possibilities!

I also used our Baby Bundle stamp set!!  I just love those elephants!!  Do you have baby pictures that need to be scrapbooked?  This is a great paper pack and stamp set to get you motivated!

Oh my gosh! I just got some time to play with our New Cricut Cartridge...it is called Flower Market...but it has so much more then flowers!!

I love this bike...and I added some shimmer to the bike (blue part) with our new shimmer pen. I am not a bling person..but I am LOVING this new shimmer pen!! I also used it on the sun and the hearts in the basket.

Here are the pages my groups will be making this month!  I LOVE them!  They are using our Magical paper pack.  This is a great paper pack for all those Disney pictures...but it doesn't have to be ONLY for Disney!  You can use them for anything (but you might want to take the Mickey head off the 2nd layout...LOL)  I will also be making a 4th of July layout using this paper pack...so stay tuned for that!

You can add our Complements to these layouts and make the more Disney...or not...this is what I LOVE about Close to my Heart's products.  They are so versatile.

4th of July Banner

Want a QUICK and easy way to show your pride for this 4th of July? I LOVE this banner...it took me about 15 minutes to make. I used the Close to my Heart Art Philosophy Circuit Cartridge to cut the banner and stars...then I cut 1/2" pieces of white scraps. Attached some white twine and DONE! So easy!

Now it's time for you to create your banner for your 4th of July parties!

Everyday Life Album meets June Stamp of the Month

Here are some samples that I made using our Magical Picture My Life cards and adding in Close to my Heart's June Stamp of the month! If you are traveling this summer...or in the past, you NEED this stamp set! It is awesome! 

I put these cards in our Page Protectors and in one of our Everyday Life Albums (Z3208 $10.95). It is a 9 x 8 - 3 ring album that is PERFECT for road trip memories. I can see having the kids do one of these too! This is a gift for a fellow traveler. Can't wait to give it to them!

One in a Melon Stamp set

Can you tell I just LOVE this One in a Melon stamp set!! LOL LOVE IT!

But, what I wanted to show you with these cards is, how you can add a bit of cardstock to change the look of cards.

These are the cards Close to my Heart made using the Calypso card workshop. But I changed them up a bit.

So the the first card, the watermelon one, I added the Cotton Candy cardstock to the top. That is all. I forgot to take a picture prior to putting the Cotton Candy cs on, but you get the idea. Then the 2nd one, the yellow pineapple card...the first one is the one Close to my Heart made (now they are using what is in the paper pack, I added things that were NOT in the paper pack...and you can do...I bet you have a few left overs!) I added Pear Cardstock and shortened the dovetailed piece. Then on the last card in that series, I flipped the pattern paper and used the black side. Easy!

Then the 3rd card...the "enjoy the things" card...the first one is what they used, and the next one is me adding Cotton Candy cardstock and I also added a pineapple from the One in a Melon set. It is amazing how different they look by adding some scraps!
