Ok...I have to say...I wasn't thrilled with this tool. I have had it for 8 months (EEK! and yes, I have NOT used it until now...oops) and just got it out to use it. And now I have to say, I LOVE IT! It isn't like a big stapler...it has cute mini staples that make a great addition to your card or pages.
Check out this video.
Here are a few cards that I made with my mini stapler.
Can you see the staples above. How cute it this!
I put 2 staples on the top left and bottom right of the Happy Birthday piece
And 2 staples at the top middle and the bottom right of the sentiment piece.
It is fun to use and these little staples are so much cuter then the regular staples. Give it a try.
The item number is Z2027 for $12.95 and the 2000 mini staples are just $2.95 Z2097. Get yours now!
It's time to get ready for Easter and what better way then to make these ADORABLE bunny baskets.
They are fun to make and use the Close to my Heart Cricut Art Philosophy.
Last week I hosted a 3 day crop and all who attended got one of these cute baskets that held their goodies.
Here they are in the box waiting to be set out at their spots.
They are loose! lol
Here is a side view
And of course...he needs a tail! If you would like to create these, here are the instructions.
All pieces cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge:

Here is what I did with my Modville Book. I wanted to do a 2 page layout for all the vacations that I have earned with my Close to my Heart business. Here are a few pages.
This is one of our many Caribbean Cruises. You can't tell from this picture, but the above picture of my son at the beach...that is a flip flap page, so there are more pictures behind that. And the square that says Caribbean Cruise...that is also a flip flap. Our itinerary is behind there.
This is our first page in the book. Our very first trip with Close to my Heart, it was a Hawaiian Cruise.
Yes, I even earned one to New Zealand. I love my job!
This one was also to the Caribbean and we took my son and his girlfriend at the time, but now is his wife!
This is my Wildwood My Crush Book. This book is about a dream we have of owning a Motorhome.
Here is our wish list and a mini trip we made to Canada
And what is really important...time to rest and relax!
As you can see, these My Crush books are GREAT books that you can tell your story and not have to spend a ton of time on. We also have accessories that go with them to embellish your pages.
Get your My Crush books to tell your stories and at $12.95 you really can't afford not to have a few! Check them out on my website.

As you might be aware, Close to my Heart had gotten some new markers and I have been busy playing with them. They are so fun! They are alcohol based...so when you play, make sure you put something under since they do bleed.
So I made this card and Someone asked if it matters if you use our regular black stamp pad or if you have to use a Stazon or pigment ink. You know, I didn't think it mattered, but I found out fast that it DOES matter.
This first picture is using the pigment ink. See how the flower POP!
Then the one below I used the regular black stamp pad. See how the flowers don't stand out as much as the one above. So make sure you use a pigment stamp pad or Stazon when using the markers. The card looks fine, but MUCH better with the pigment ink.
Here are the 2 card side by side. The one on the right is the pigment ink. I didn't think there would be that big of a difference, but there is.
Here is a short video telling about the Close to my Heart Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge. If you have it, you need to watch this so you get more ideas on how to use the sleeve function. If you don't have this cartridge, you need it.
