Operation Smile Stamp Set

As you may know, Close to my Heart supports Operation Smile.  And you can help contribute to this great charity.  It fixes kids who have cleft lip and palette.  And when you purchase this stamp set, Close to my Heart will contribute $3 from every stamp set sold to Operation Smile.

Let it Snow????

I have to say I am a little glad we got snow, but not sure I want it to stay very long.  LOL  I did grab my husband and we ran outside to get our picture taken for the first page of my 2015 album.  YEA!  Now the snow can go away.  LOL

Here is the layout I made using our Snowhaven paper pack and of course the adorable Polar Bear Holiday stamps (C1557).  I have been using these stamp so much lately...I think I need to put them away for a while.  But they are so cute!

Here is a little tip about taking pictures in the snow.  If you wait until it is getting dark out...and it has to be snowing...get outside and take pictures.  It is the most amazing picture.  The flash will reflect the water in the snowflake and you get this cotton ball look.  

Here are some pictures I took back in 2004.  See how the snowflakes look like cotton balls.  It is a GREAT picture...but remember you have to do this when it is getting dark and your flash goes off.

It's Cold Outside...but warm inside!

I recently had a party for my team and I wanted to show you what I created.  The theme was using our Snowhaven paper pack, so I grabbed the cutest stamps (Polar Bear Holidays C1557 $13.95) and started creating.  

Here are a few of the name tags I created for the party.  I used black cardstock and stamped their names and the polar bears in our white pigment ink.  Boy to I love how this looks!  It has that chalkboard appearance.  

I then took these little jars that I got a craft store and filled them with light blue and white candy.  The lids are stamped with one of the stamps from the Art Philosophy stamp set and I also cut the images using that Cricut Cartridge.  I didn't like the middle part of that stamp, so I stamped the CUTE snowman (Flakey Friends C1506 $13.95).  Used our new markers to color him and done!

Here is a picture of the pacesetting.  How cute is this!  So remember when you are planning a party, take out your scrapbooking/stamping supplies and get creating!  You will be glad you did!!

February Stamp of the Month

Do you like flowers?  If you do, you are going to LOVE our February stamp of the month!  It is FILLED with flowers!

Very cute card.  Here is the secret with cards.  What I like to do is get out some scraps that you want to use up, make the first card so you know what you want to do and then mass cut.  Then you can make a bunch of the cards, all the same (or not depending on if you want to change up the paper) and then you have a stash of cards DONE!  So when you need it, you go into your stash and tada!  Done! No stress.  

This is the stamp of the month for February, so that means you need to get it before the end of the month.  You can either purchase it for $17.95 OR, purchase $50 in product and get it for just $5!  What a deal!

February Monthly Group Pages

Here are the pages we will be making in my February monthly groups.  I LOVE these pages!  We will be using our Snowhaven paper pack.  (X7188B).  

I use our Artbooking Cricut Cartridge to cut the camera.  How cute is that!!  I put the snowman from our Flakey Friends (C1506 $13.95) stamp set in it.   I have to say, that is one of my favorite stamp sets.  As if you will see with the upcoming posts. =)
