Rudolph Treat Cups

Aren't these the Cutest!!  My Rudolph treat cups that I made for my team Christmas Party.  I used the Close to my Heart My Creations Pint Sized Containers (Z3137 $5.95 for 3).  They come white...I painted them brown using our Watercolor Paints (Z3132 $11.95).  

OH, and the Pint Sized Containers are on sale for 25% off in the month of December (or while supplies last)

Then I cut the antlers from the Close to my Heart Artistry Cartridge (page 45)  I used 6" of cardstock and just put it in the area where the antlers would cut (because it was the whole deer head) and cut it fit to page.  Then once it cut the antlers, I stopped the Cricut.  I just wanted the antlers.  I cut the hat from the same cartridge page 49.  I used 4" of cardstock again because it was for the whole snowman...I just wanted his hat.  I cut it "fit to page" again and once the hat was cut, I stopped the Cricut.  

Then his eyes were just a 1" oval.  And a black circle.  I got hot glued a sparkle ball and done!

I filled them with Peppermint candies.  So a little bit of time, some Cricut cuts, left over paper makes  a great gift.  

Christmas Goodies

Do you have some people on your list that you want to get a little something for, but don't want to spend a lot of money?  Here is a GREAT gift to give.  I made these for my team.

This is made using our Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  Page 68.  I made it here at 11".  This is what the guide recommended...it is BIG!  And that is the direction I wanted to go.  You can make them smaller if you choose.

I took some "extra" green ribbon that I had laying around to tie the ends...and now I am THRILLED that I used what I had and it is almost gone...yea me!  lol  

Then I cut another shape for the sentiment out of the Close to my Heart Artistry Cartridge and stamped it with a sentiment from our White Pines workshop kit.  Added a piece of holly (also from the White Pines workshop kit), filled it with peppermint candies and DONE!  

So remember to grab one of your Close to my Heart Cricut Cartridges and make some inexpensive but meaningful gifts.  If you don't have these cartridges, you can order them on my website at www.gottastamp.ctmh.com.

Cute Boxes

Do you love cute boxes to give to your friends, neighbors, coworkers or your kids teachers?  In the next couple days I will post some adorable boxes you can create.  And here is today's cute boxes.

Santa Box

Base - Close to my Heart’s Artiste - pg 53 4 1/2” - box

Tape bakers twine to the inside if you want a “handle”

Beard - 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 white and run it through the cuddlebug using our templates.  Adhere to the box and cut off the sides.

Face 1 1/2 x 2 - Champagne cs 

Sponge dauber the cheeks

Mustache - 3/4” white pg 67 Artiste

Nose - regular hole punch - sponge edges w cranberry or 1/2” circle

Hat Brim - Artiste pg 62 3/4”

Holly - AP cartridge pg 46 1”

Ball at end of hat - I used 3/4” AP pg 41

1 1/2 circle punch w white for the “ho ho ho” stamp is from Perfect fit holiday.

I would attach all things and THEN adhere box.  But DO NOT tape the bottom, this will let you put stuff in box.

**stamp the back using B1475 Handmade and put your name so they know you made it.

**Use our Close to my Heart's Shin Han markers to color the bells!  =)

Elf Box

Base - Close to my Heart’s Artiste - pg 53 4 1/2” - box

Collar - 2” scallop punch cut in 1/2

Hat Brim - pg 62 1” then run through Cuddlebug

Face - Champagne cs pg 66 2”.  Use daubers fro cheeks (Cranberry ink)

Nose -  pg 48 1/2” circle - sponge edges 

Draw mouth

Hair - hand cut (like un upside down mountain)

Put a button for the shirt and a bell on the hat.

Very cute and VERY fun!  Give them a try!

OH MY GOSH! Check out this video...watch the whole thing..it is 6 minutes long...but SO worth it!! This is not only a great planner, but it is a GREAT all purpose book! November Group Layouts

November is here...wow...how did that happen?  LOL

It's Official!

For those of you who haven't heard, I am going to be a Grandma!!  I am so excited!  I can't wait to make a scrapbook from the beginning...oh what will that be like!  

I made this page for the first page of the babies scrapbook.  Oh this is going to be fun!  

November Stamp of the Month

I played with the November stamp of the month last night and LOVE how this layout turned out!  Now I have the first page of my 2016 album done!  YEA!  

I also used the Close to my Heart  La Vie En Rose paper pack.   

Fall is finally HERE!

I THINK fall is finally here!  At least it is in my scrapbook room!  I created this fall layout using Close to my Heart's newest Cricut Cartridge Artistry.  It took a little time, but I LOVED how it turned out.

One Last Halloween Goodie

I made this the other day, filled it with candy corn and peanuts.  I used the Close to my Heart Cricut Cartridge and cut out vinyl and stuck it to this jar!   Fast and easy.  I am really loving cutting vinyl with my Cricut.

It's almost Halloween...do you have those goodies for those special spooks?  I created these little goodies recently.  I found these clear boxes in my closet, filled them with M& M's, wrapped them with discontinued Washi Tape (yea) and made little tags.  How cute are they!!  I used Close to my Heart's Little Monsters (C1630) & Packages, Boxes & Tags (D1664) stamp sets. Then I put those cute little bow ties on the mummy and Dracula!  TOO CUTE!

So quick, get out your supplies and get them done before Saturday!

Tags and Bags!

So I thought I was done with the Nebraska stamp for a while, but I had another GREAT opportunity to use it again.  At least you know I am getting my $2.95 out of this stamp!!  Yes, it's only $2.95 (and we also have ALL the states)

I got these die cuts for my friend who is doing the Cars theme for her unit meetings..so I thought these would be a fun little gift for her.  So I added a bag topper and a little scrunchie bag filler and created this cute topper.  It took me just a little time, and I love how it looks.  

I used out Packages, Boxes & Tags (D1664 $17.95) stamp set with this too.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stamp set!!  I didn't realize I would use it so much, but if you like to put your "stamp" on little gifts, then I HIGHLY recommend this stamp set!

Then I got out my Jennifer's Hand Alphabet (B1484 $9.95) for her name and I was done!  How cute is this.  I can see doing this for teachers gifts, co-workers..etc

And since I had my team member Jen deliver this gift to my friend (in Denver) I thought I would make her a little something too.  Instead of just giving a bag of M & M's, I added a little bit of packaging and a tag (again from the Packages, Boxes & Tags stamp set) and a little personal thanks!

So make sure when you are giving gifts, to add a little stamping to them!  

Travel Journal

I have created a travel journal for our trips this year.  There are so many details that I forget, so I thought I should write it down as it is happening, so when it is time to scrapbook, I can go back to my travel journal and get all the specifics.  There are so many little details that would have been forgotten if it wasn't for this journal.  Now I didn't want to spend a lot of time decorating it etc.  So I just stamped the title on the first sheet with a few other stamps.  Nothing fancy.

Then at the start of each trip, I do another quick and easy title page.  This one is for our recent Colorado trip.  I even used Close to my Heart's new state stamps.  I WANT THEM ALL!  lol  So I am slowly gathering them all as I visit them.  So this isn't the best page to show you, I didn't realize that Colorado was such a rectangle...LOL  but it was where I visited last.  

Here is another picture of that page with our new Mini Stamp Organizer (Z3106 $12.95) perfect for all these state stamps!  And all of our M size stamps.  YEA!!  Our little stamps are M size and are all $2.95.  We even have monogram stamps this size too!  See below.  

Here is my Hawaii cover page...again...simple and I made it before we had these stamps, so I just added it to the top.

It's Time to Create for Halloween

I created these cute witches brooms using a tootsie pop and some extra cardstock!  They are a little labor intensive, but they were so fun.  I got the idea at convention, and recreated it.

So take a tootsie pop and I sponged the stick with a brown stamp pad.  Then I took a 2 1/2 x 12 piece of Kraft cardstock and cut ever 1/4 of a inch.  Make sure you leave about 1/2 of an inch at the top where you don't cut so it stays together.  Then just wrap it around the tootsie pop and attached a tag.  

I used Pumpkin Chevron Stamp Set (B1488 $9.95) for the tag.  Tie it on with some coordinating ribbon.  I used our Thistle Extra Thick Twine Z3040 $3.95.

It is time to start creating your Halloween decorations and treat!  

Personalize Your Gifts

I just LOVE giving gifts that you can eat! LOL And you need to put a little personalization on it! I was in Utah in August for Close to My Heart and I wanted to bring everyone a little something. So I got some popcorn balls and stamped these cute little tags for them. 

I used Treats of Friendship Stamp Set C1616 and cut the tags out using the Close to my Heart Cricut Artbooking Cartridge. Make sure when you are giving a little gift, personalize it with a handmade tag!

Nebraska Stamp!

Show your state PRIDE! Close to my Heart now has state stamps! I am so excited about these!! I started to buy them by the state I have visited...but then I thought, how about showing our state pride. 

If you live here in Nebraska, you know that the Saturdays in the fall are filled up with Nebraska Football Games. Here I created a layout using the state stamp on my son & daughter in law's football layout. I also cut the football from our Cricut Artbooking Cartridge. TOO FUN! 

It is also customary for me to make a little goodie bag for any out of town guest that drop in. So I used the Nebraska stamp on the goodies!!  I thought these would be good for just stamping on my layouts when I went on vacation and in my travel journal, but I am finding so many more ideas to use these for!

Zoo pictures using Zoe Paper
